US Health and Fitness Tips!

Looking to improve your health and Fitness is of course no bad thing, but where does one go to get the information needed to achieve a better lifestyle? The US government of course.
The United States Department of Health and Human Services has launched a new website and presumably it’s cost millions of dollars, such as with the redesign of Recovery.gov. The new website; Smallstep.gov, provides information on how to become a more healthy citizen by taking small managable changes to your lifestyle. I just thought i’d provide you my pick of the tips provided and you never know, they may just improve your life:
- Drink diet soda.
- Before going back for seconds, wait 10 or 15 minutes. You might not want seconds after all
- More carrots, less cake
- Eat your meals at home on a smaller plate
- Avoid food portions larger than your fist
- Skip buffets
- Fetch the newspaper yourself
- Sit up straight at work
- Choose a checkout line without a candy display
- When eating out, ask your sever to put half your entree on a to-go bag.
- Walk briskly through the mall and shop ’til you drop… pounds.
- Play with your kids 30 minutes a day

It’s the Democrats. Well, according to Michelle Bachmann, the elected representative for Minnesota. She’s the lady who called Obama unAmerican, amongst other crazed ravings. (Via Pharyngula):
I find it interesting that it was back in the 1970s that the swine flu broke out then under another Democrat president Jimmy Carter, and I’m not blaming this on President Obama, I just think it’s an interesting coincidence.
